Abstract
This study aims to examine the marital satisfaction of Indonesian women who are married to foreign men (Caucasian) and living a life. Marital satisfaction is subjective and used by a person to evaluate their partner or marriage, therefore it is important in maintaining harmony in married life. The marital satisfaction factors used in this study belong to the theory of Duvall and Miller (1985) as the ground theory. In-depth interviews were conducted on three Indonesian women with foreign husbands. The women met the criteria required for the research and were willing to participate. The study took place over five months, from February 2014 until June 2014. The results of this study indicate that the three subjects have a good level of satisfaction with their partner overall, and harmony in the household could remain intact.
