Abstract
The relation between housekeeper and employer based on the violence can lead to a negative relationship between employers and housekeeper. These conditions will threaten the welfare of housekeeper to do the job. But not all of housekeepers has experience the violence. And this makes some housekeepers can be loyal to work and has the positive relationship with their employers. Welfare of housekeepers is important so that they can show a positive attitude when their work and the pattern of employers-housekeepers relations can be built up in tandem. The purpose of this study was to describe housekeeper’s subjective well being who has worked for years. This study using qualitative method and has 4 respondents (women in middle adulthood, within 40-60) who work as a houskeepers for at least 10 years. The result of this study shows that 4 respondents are subjective well being because they can survive and feel happy where they work.
