Abstract
The aim from this study is to provide the images about coping stress on female young adult who suffering from cervical cancer. Lazarus And Folkman (1984) studied the analysis theory about coping stress. A patient who suffering from cervical cancer and on undergoing chemotherapy treatmen need to have coping stress , so he/she can cope the problem and motivated his/her self to endure from the illness. Subjects from this study were four female who suffering from cervical cancer and on undergoing chemotherapy treatment. The process of retrieving data through an interview and observation, within the periode October 2015 untill April 2016. Coping stress is the effort of someone to regulate a discrepancy between demand and resources he/she had on the situation which full of pressure. The result of this study, found that the patients of cervical cancer experiencing biological stress, such as queasiness, puke and have no appetite. Psychological stress reaction perceived by cervical cancer patient such as imprison her/his self, feeling inferior, afraid and anxious. The four subjects take a coping stress to deal with their stressor, problem foused coping to cope with their illness, and emotion focused coping to calming their emotion in order cope with their stress.
