Abstract
"The aim of this study was to find out relationship between Emotional Maturity and Risky Driving Behavior. Emotional Maturity is internal development in a person that is seen with a balance between mind and reality that occurs. Risky driving behavior is a way of driving vehicle without paying attention to the risk that can occur in his surrounding. The driver performs a behavior that ignores the safety of self, passengers, pedestrians, as well as other drivers. The subject of this study is an early adulthood bikers aged 18-40 years old. This study was conducted in Jakarta and Yogyakarta. The method that used is quantitative method by using exploratory factor analysis method for risky driving behavior scale (N = 258) and confirmatory factors analysis for emotional maturity scale (N = 258). The result of path analysis test (N = 155) both variables found that there is no corellation between emotional maturity and risky driving behavior on bikers."
