Abstract

The high level of criminality make the police officer responsibility increase. That make a question how huge level of job stress. The aim of this research is to know role ambiguity, job demand, and job stress in participant and which factor of role ambiguity or job demand that have a role on job stress. This research uses quantitative non experimental method with multiple regression analysis. The participant in this research is 128 people with minimum age of 22 years old and maximum age of 57 years old. All of the participants in this research are male. The result show that level of job stress in participants isn’t high. The result also shows that role ambiguity and job demand have a positive correlation to job stress. Furthermore role ambiguity is compared to job demand, the result show that role ambiguity is have a role on job stress than job demand.
