Abstract
" Transmission of HIV virus through high-risk sexual relations is increasingly improved. When it happens to an HIV positive housewife because of contracting her husband, there will be various feelings on her like shame and guilt. These feelings arise when they feel doing something wrong in themselves and even transmit the virus to his or her child. The purpose of this study was to find out the shame and guilt images of HIV-infected housewives. There are four subjects infected with HIV because of contracting the husband. The research method used is qualitative. Based in the results of the study, it can be concluded that the four subjects an HIV-infected will feel guilt on her self, but there is no feeling of shame. Shame does not mean not to tell others, but they are afraid and anxious to tell the status to others because it will be bad for family and psychology children. "
