Abstract
Religiosity Orientation affects internet pornography and vice versa. Orientation means a review to determine the correct attitudes (direction, places, etc.) that underlie thought, attention, or inclination. Religiosity is defined as an organized belief system that deals with God such as the dogmas (teachings), meanings, and values of a religious group that becomes the identity and expression of the obedience of an individual. So the orientation of religiosity is a person’s tendency in carrying out his religious beliefs and manifesting his religious beliefs and the values he embraces. While internet pornography use is any form of assessing, viewing, watching, or keeping pornography material in the form of images or writings that can arouse sexual feelings or arouse lust through the thoughts or feelings and obtained through internet connection. The study was conducted on 277 adolescents. This research uses non experimental quantitative method with correlational design. Result of data analysis using Spearman correlation test show r (277) = -.202 and p = .001. So it can be concluded there is a significant negative relationship between religiosity and internet pornography use. So it can be concluded that there is a significant negative correlation between the orientation of religiosity and the use of internet pornography. A person who has intrinsic religiosity is characterized by the minimal use of internet pornography; whereas someone with an extrinsic religiosity is characterized by the use of more internet pornography. The benefits of this research for the writer is to encourage teenagers to deepen or perceive the moral values that taught in religion and have a critical attitude to the internet. Intrinsic religiosity can provides prevention and coping on internet pornography issues.
