Abstract
"Nowdays, teenagers tend to consume alcoholic bevarages without thinking the effects of them. The goal of this study is to know the relationship between Self-Control and Conformity in adolescents who had consume alcoholic beverages. The total of the subjects includes 257 participants, consisting of 118 male subjects and 139 female subjects with range of age 18 to 21 years old who had consumed alcoholic bevarages with their friends. Data collected by using online questionnaire. Self-control was measured using Self-Control Scale (Tangney, Boone, and Baumeister, 2004) consisting of 36 items with Likert scale 1 to 5. Conformity was measured using Conformity scale (Octarina, 2017) consisting of 20 items with Likert scale 1 to 5. In this research quantitative Correlational methods was used with non-probability Snowball sampling. The result of this study shown that data distribution is normal, therefore parametric Pearson Correlation was used. Furthermore analysis shown that there were negative significant correlation between self-control and conformity"
