Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of psychological capital on academic procrastination in University X. This study uses quantitative methods using convention sampling to find subjects easly. Subjects of this study were active students on Faculty X and involved 382 subjects class of 2015-2018. To measure psychological capital using the Psychological Capital Questionaire (PCQ) (developed by faculty) and to measure academic procrastination using Scale-Student Procrastination Academic (PASS). The results of this study indicate that psychological capital has a negative and significant role on academic procrastination in students. Data analysis shows the value of R Square 0.32, which means that the contribution of psychological capital to academic procrastination has a role of 3.2%, while 96.8% is influenced by other factors.
