Abstract

This research examines the role of humor style towards job satisfaction, with supervisor-subordinate relationship quality as the mediator. Job s atis faction is the s taff’s behavior or evaluation towards his /her job. The humor s tyles exa mined in this s tudy are affiliat ive humor (hu mor s ourced fro m s omeone els e’s pos itivity) and aggressive humor (humor sourced from someone els e’s negativity). The amount of participants included is 148 f ro m PT . X. The advancements from this res earch can be us ed to increas e staff’s job s atis faction, bas ed on the usage of humor style and supervisor-subordinate relationship quality.
