Abstract
This study examines whether the performance of Private Higher Education (PTS) which are in the neighborhood Kopertis Region III, has met performance benchmarks that have been determined by the Malcom Baldrige National Award (MBNA) 2015-2016 or not.The sample used in this study is the Faculty of Economics with minimal Accreditation B.The data used in this study are primary data by adopting categories and sub categories of MBNA distributed to the Chairman of the Department of Studies in each of the Faculty of Economics in the form of questionnaires pairwise comparisons. Methods of data analysis using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) developed by Saaty using Expert Choice software version 11 to process research data.This study found five categories of seven categories of PTS in the environment MBNA Kopertis Region III and 9 sub-categories of 17 sub-categories that have a score higher than the reference value. Another finding of this study, the performance of PTS in the environment Kopertis Region III is still at the stage of reacting to Problems Approaches, but there are seven subcategories that are at the stage of Early Systematic Approaches, 5 sub categories at the stage Aligned Approaches and the first sub-category has reached the highest stage namely Integrated Approaches.
