Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze the factors that affect the capital structure in the food and beverage sectors listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the year of 2008-2015. The data sample of 8 companies. This study use multiple regression to examine the effect of profitability, firm size, asset growth and liquidity on the debt-to-equity ratio. The results of this study indicate simultaneous profitability, firm size, asset growth and liquidity affect the debt-to-equity ratio. Partially, profitability affect the debt-to-equity ratio while firm size, asset growth and liquidity not affect the debt-to-equity ratio.
