One of the most important tasks of LPPI is the support of research activities at the University "X". In carrying out these activities LPPI be supported by good information and integrated systems. For this purpose a system needs to be designed application Knowledge Based Management System. Implementation of Knowledge Management application design models are expected to contribute to helping facilitate improving the quality and quantity of research produced by the lecturers at the University "X". The method used for modeling the design is the study of literature, studying the document either printed or electronic documents, requirements analysis, analysis of information technology infrastructure, strategic analysis knowledge Management, Knowledge Management systems requirements analysis, system design and analysis Knowledge Management, Knowledge Management system. The result is a model of Knowledge Management Applications Design for the LPPI University "X".
