Abstract
successful women entrepreneurs were described as being persistent, mentally strong, visionary and innovative. the study also revealed that exploiting unique opportunities in the business environment and being independent are the factors behind women decision to become entrepreneurs. Family members and business partners are the other sources of financialsupport and moral support to women entrepreneurs. the purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of motivation and social support to the successful women entrepreneurs. this study examines the motivation factors and social support of 100 women entrepreneurs who were selected from WEST Jakarta. Data was collected using a self administered questionnaire. The study revealed that motivation and social support have the influence on the successful women entrepreneurs.
