Abstract

The spirit of the government to provide shelter for all levels of society in Indonesia has been echoed since Indonesia's independence in 1945. These noble ideals continue to be proclaimed through various regulations that have been issued until 2013. Regional development in the Greater Jakarta area on a large scale continues to develop along with developments Indonesian economy. Recent population growth has continued to accelerate and is not balanced from the readiness of the government in providing shelter to create a backlog that becomes the problem’s for the current government. This study was conducted to examine whether existing regulations have been applied by large-scale developers in Kota Baru BSD.
