Abstract

The length of the National road in Banten Province along 564 kilometers is spread in several districts and cities in the region. In managing the implementation of the road, adequate resources are needed so that fast and appropriate actions can be taken so that there are no complaints from road users / the community. While the implementation of road handling carried out by service providers with conventional contract systems must be carried out through a procurement process that passes procedures based on applicable laws and regulations. Based on Circulation Letter of Director General of High-ways No.9 / SE / DB Year 2015 Implementation of road handling, carried out by service providers with the Long Segment System. The Long Segment system is the handling of Road Preservation within the boundary of one segment length that is continuously carried out with the aim of obtaining steady and standard road conditions throughout the segment. In the implementation of road handling carried out by service providers with a long segment contract system, the service provider must meet the level of road services conditions to meet road quality standards of a certain length measured by road performance indicators, a measure used to describe the quality of parts of the road that directly affect road users. National road management in Banten Province currently uses the Long Segment system, therefore it is necessary to analyze any aspects in handling the system. This study analyzes these aspects with the AHP (ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS) approach that comes from interviews and questionnaires.
