Abstract
Sidewalks and other public facilities such as street shoulders have begun to turn into a function of trading activities for some people. For example is Mangga Besar area. At night, street vendors make sidewalks and road shoulders as a place to trade. Street vendors do not trade carelessly; instead they have certain patterns (migration & skills, distribution, service and management) to sell their merchandise. The pattern with one another pattern is believed by researcher to have a relationship. Street vendors on Jalan Mangga Besar are still in unofficial merchant groups because there is no official permit occupies a trading location and unofficial lease levy fees. This thesis will illustrate the patterns of street vendors on Jalan Mangga Besar and how they relate to each other. The method used by the researcher is qualitative method. The researcher will learn and explore the patterns of street vendors.
