Abstract
this study was conducted to determine and analyze the influence of environment uncertainty, entrepreneurial characteristic, entrepreneur knowledge, and utilization of information technology on creative industry business performance in West Jakarta. Environment uncertainty were measured by change in government regulations, interest rate, currency rate, human resources, inflation, raw material, product and machine. Entreprenurial characteristic were measured by openness to new experience, focus in customer and product, self confidence, initiative, responsibility, satisfied in dealing with problems and challenges, and energetic. Entrepreneur knowledge were measured by the knowledge of accounting, marketing, human resources, finance, customer relation, international trade, and logistic. Utilization of information technology were measured by usage of internet and electronic devices in business operation, and utilization of information technology in marketing and promotion. Business perfomance were measured by growth of sales, profit, capital/asset, and business durability. The methods of data collection conducted by distributing questionnaires to the 75 entrepreneur in creative industries by using judgemental sampling to determine the sample of this research.. The findings of this research showed that environment uncertainty, entrepreneurial characteristic, entrepreneur knowledge, and utilization of information technology partially and simultaneously influence significantly on creative industry business performance in West Jakarta with confidence level 95%.
