Abstract
The purpose of this study is to look for the empirical evidence of the effect of Profitability as measured by Return on Asset (ROA) and Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Tangibility, Leverage, Information Asymmetry, and Board Structure as measured by Board Size and Board Ownership to Financial Distress. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with purposive sampling. The findings of this study are Profitability (Return on Assets and Gross Profit Margin), Tangibility, Leverage, Information Asymmetry, and Board Structure (Board Size and Board Ownership) has an effect to financial distress on the industrial sector real estate and property listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2012.
