Abstract
This is a research to test the Ajzen 's theory of planned behavior (TPB Theory). The purpose of this research is to examine if attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control can predict whistleblowing intentions of students of Economic Faculty, University of Tarumanagara in 2011-2012 academic year. It also examines if there is a significant difference of whistleblowing intentions between gender status. Samples were randomly chosen from all Professional and Business Ethics student classes of the population. The hypothesis test was Using F test and t lest of regression model. and Test of mean difference. The result of F test indicated that attittude, Subjective norms. and perceived behavioral control simultaneously could significantly predict students whistleblowing intentions. It means that the Ajzen 's TPB theory was valid. Individual test using I.lest indicated that only attittude and subjectives norms could significant predict the students' whistleblowing intentions, while perceived behavioral control, even positively correlated to the whistleblowing intentions, failed to predict students' whistleblowing intentions. Test of mean difference indicated that there was no significant difference of whistleblowing intentions between gender status.
