Abstract

The design of automation hotel reservation and service system is designed to replace the receptionist job with a computer to serve guests who will stay. This system uses 3 PCs to serve guest registration, deposit balances, hotel rooms booking, and respond to service or complaints which directly received by the receptionist. The RFID card system uses an RFID card as a payment tool and unlock the door that was ordered. This system is also equipped with a microcontroller module, RFID reader modules, power supply controller module, room service and complaints module, and reminder and time adder spent module which working by orders from the PCs. Communication used between a PC with a microcontroller and a PC with RFID reader is a serial communication. All modules have been tested so that the system can run well and can be used to replace the receptionist. This system is designed to serve the reservations for hotel guests who come directly to the hotel.
