Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara firm size, profitability, leverage, sales growth, dan net working capital terhadap cash holding perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2016 – 2018. Adapun sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 70 perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil uji chow dan uji hausman yang dilakukan dengan software Eviews 9.0, penelitian ini menggunakan fixed effect model. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa profitability, leverage, dan net working capital memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap cash holding, sedangkan firm size dan sales growth tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap cash holding. Kata Kunci: cash holding, firm size, profitability, leverage, sales growth The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of firm size, profitability, leverage, sales growth, and net working capital on cash holding in manufacture companies that is listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2016 – 2018. The samples used in this research are 70 companies. According to chow test and hausman test used in Eviews 9.0 software, this model used fixed effect model. The result of this research is that profitability, leverage, and net working capital had positive and significant effect on cash holding, while firm size and sales growth had no effect on cash holding.
