Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of leverage, profitability, tangible asset, firm size and investment opportunities on cash holding of manufacturing companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange for the period 2017-2020. This research used 58 manufacturing companies as a sample after selecting by purposive sampling method from 134 companies for four years. This research was proceeded using Eviews 12 SV software and using multiple linear regression analysis techniques to test the hypothesis. The result of this research shows that leverage and tangible asset have a negative and significant effect on cash holding, profitability has a positive and significant effect on cash holding, while firm size and investment opportunities have no significant effect on cash holding.
