Abstract
The purpose of this study was to obtain evidence regarding the effect of leverage, growth opportunity, and firm size on cash holding in the manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2017-2019 period. The sample was selected in this test using purposive sampling method. The data in this study is secondary data that was processed using the Eviews version 12 software program. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a panel data regression model. The sample that has been selected is 71 companies for three consecutive years so that the total sample becomes 213 units. The results showed that leverage and firm size had no effect on cash holding and growth opportunity had a negative effect on cash holding. The implication of this research is the importance of managing cash holdings to maintain a balance between profitability and liquidity. Keywords: leverage, growth opportunity, firm size, cash holding
