Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the effect or absence of probability, firm size, asset structure, sales growth, and firm age toward the capital structure of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. The method used to select samples is purposive sampling and obtained as many as 39 samples of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. The selected sample will be processed using the Eviews 12 Student Version and Microsoft Excel programs. The result shown in this study are that profitability, asset structure, and firm age have no negative effect on capital structure, while firm size and sales growth have a possitive effect on capital structure.
