Abstract
The purpose of this study is to prove and analyze empirically whether there is influence between board independence, CEO duality, audit committee size, audit committee financial expertise and political connection to the firm performance in infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2016 to 2020. The data used is secondary data with a sample count of 83 samples. The study used descriptive research design and used purposive sampling methods. This study uses SPSS version 25. The results showed the size of the audit committee had a significant and positive influence on the firm performance whereas board independence, CEO duality, audit committee financial expertise and political connections had an insignificant influence on firm performance. The implication of this research is that the infrastructure companies needs to improve corporate governance, especially the number of audit committees in the company so that company performance can be improved.
