Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of Profitability, Leverage, Liquidity and Firm Size on dividend policy. The research method used is purposive sampling with a total sample of 35 manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research was conducted using secondary data for the 2018-2020 observation year. The data is obtained from the annual financial statements available at www.idx.com. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, F-test, t-test and coefficient of determination test. Hypothesis testing using t-test. The results of the study show that: (1) profitability has a positive and insignificant effect on dividend policy; (2) leverage has a negative and insignificant effect on dividend policy; (3) liquidity has a positive and insignificant effect on dividend policy; (4) firm size has a positive and significant effect on dividend policy.
