Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability ratios and solvency ratios on stock prices of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020 with inflation as the moderating variable. In this study, sample selection was carried out using purposive sampling method. The data was processed with the help of the Microsoft Excel 2019 application program and EViews version 12. The results of this study indicate that the profitability ratio with the Return on Assets proxy, the solvency ratio with the Debt to Equity Ratio proxy, and inflation have a positive and significant effect on stock prices. While the profitability ratio with the Return on Equity proxy has a negative and significant effect on stock prices. In addition, inflation is known to moderate the effect of the profitability ratio with the Return on Assets proxy, the profitability ratio with the Return on Equity proxy, and the solvency ratio with the Debt to Equity Ratio proxy on stock prices. Keywords: profitability ratios, solvency ratios, inflation, stock prices Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio profitabilitas dan rasio solvabilitas terhadap harga saham perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2018-2020 dengan inflasi sebagai variabel moderasi. Dalam penelitian ini, pemilihan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data diolah dengan bantuan dari program aplikasi Microsoft Excel 2019 dan EViews versi 12. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rasio profitabilitas dengan proksi Return on Assets, rasio solvabilitas dengan proksi Debt to Equity Ratio, dan inflasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham. Sedangkan rasio profitabilitas dengan proksi Return on Equity memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham. Selain itu, inflasi diketahui dapat memoderasi pengaruh rasio profitabilitas dengan proksi Return on Assets, rasio profitabilitas dengan proksi Return on Equity, dan rasio solvabilitas dengan proksi Debt to Equity Ratio terhadap harga saham.
