Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bukti secara empiris mengenai pengaruh firm size, cash flow, net working capital, dan solvability terhadap cash holding. Subjek yang digunakan adalah perusahaan sektor consumer goods yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2019 dan sampel sebanyak 31 perusahaan. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi Eviews 12. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa net working capital memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap cash holding, sedangkan firm size, cash flow, dan solvability tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap cash holding. Kata kunci: Firm Size, Cash Flow, Net Working Capital, Solvability, Cash Holding. The objective of this research was to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of firm size, cash flow, net working capital, and solvability on cash holding. The subject of this research was consumer goods companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2017-2019 with a sample of 31 consumer goods companies. The sample selection technique used was purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Eviews 12 software. The result of this research showed that net working capital has a negative effect on cash holding, while firm size, cash flow and solvability have no effect on cash holding.
