Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindetifikasi dan menganalisis pengaruh liquidity, leverage, asset tangibility, board size dan firm age terhadap firm’s profitability pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2017-2020. Desain penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode purposive sampling yang menghasilkan sebanyak 71 perusahaan dengan 284 sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan Eviews 10 dalam pengolahan data. Dalam menguji hipotesis digunakan model regresi data panel fixed effect model. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel liquidity dan leverage tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap firm’s profitability. Variabel asset tangibility dan board size tidak berpengaruh negatif terhadap firm’s profitability. Sedangkan Variabel firm age berpengaruh negatif terhadap firm’s profitability. Kata Kunci: liquidity, leverage, asset tangibility, board size, firm age, firm’s profitability The purpose of this research is is to indetify and analyze about the effect of liquidity, leverage, asset tangibility, board size and firm age on firm’s profitability in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2017-2020 period. The research design is a descriptive study with a purposive sampling method which resulted in as many as 71 companies with 284 research sample using Eviews 10 in data processing. In testing the hypothesis, the fixed effect panel data regression model is used. he results showed that the liquidity and leverage variables don’t have a positive effect on the firm's profitability. Asset tangibility and board size variables don’t have a negative effect on firm's profitability. While the firm age variable has a negative effect on firm's profitability.
