Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh Profitabilitas, Arus Kas Operasi, dan Financial Leverage terhadap Financial Distress. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling, diperoleh 17 perusahaan sektor pertambangan sebagai sampel penelitian akhir dari total data 51 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder untuk tahun pengamatan 2014-2020. Data diperoleh dari laporan keuangan tahunan yang tersedia di www.idx.com. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji F, uji t dan uji koefisien determinasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress; (2) financial leverage berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap financial distress; (3) arus kas operasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress. Kata Kunci : Financial Distress, Profitabilitas, Financial Leverage, Arus Kas Operasi The purpose of this study is to empirically test the effect of Profitability, Operating Cash Flow, and Financial Leverage towards Financial Distress. The research method used is purposive sampling method, obtaining 17 mining sector companies as the final research samples from a total data of 51 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research was conducted using secondary data for the 2014-2020 observation year. The data is obtained from the annual financial statements available at www.idx.com. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, F-test, t-test and coefficient of determination test. Hypothesis testing using t-test. The results of the study show that: (1) profitability has a positive and significant effect on financial distress; (2) financial leverage has a negative and insignificant effect on financial distress; (3) operating cash flow has a positive and significant effect on financial distress.
