Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the effect of investment opportunity, capital structure, and dividend policy towards firm value in companies listed in the LQ45 Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2015-2019. Observations in this study was taken on 115 datas from 23 companies over 5 year periods, which were selected using purposive sampling. The method used in this study is multiple regression analysis which is processed with Eviews 10 software. The results in this research shows that investment opportunity has insignificant effect on firm value, capital structure has insignificant effect on firm value, and dividend policy has significant effect on firm value. Penlitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari investment opportunity, capital structure, dan dividend policy terhadap firm value dari perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Indeks LQ45 di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2019. Observasi pada penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 115 data yang berasal dari 23 perusahaan selama periode 5 tahun, yang mana dipilih dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa regresi linier berganda yang diolah dengan bantuan program Eviews 10. Hasil pada penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa investment opportunity memberikan pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap firm value, capital structure memberikan pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap firm value, dan dividend policy memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap firm value.
