Abstract

The Purpose of this study is to determine the effect of entrepreneurship knowledge, entrepreneurship characteristics, and motivation towards the success of culinary small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Pontianak city. The sample of this study are 80 repondents and the sampling technique used is convience sampling who were collected through an online questionnaire using google form. The data obtained and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) and processed using SmartPLS application version 3.3.3. The results found in this study are that entrepreneurship knowledge, entrepreneurship characteristics,and motivation have a significant positive effect on the success of culinary small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Pontianak city. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pengetahuan kewirausahaan, karakteristik kewirausahaan serta motivasi berpengaruh pada keberhasilan usaha UMKM kuliner di kota Pontianak. Sampel penelitian adalah sebanyak 80 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah convenience sampling yang dikumpulkan melalui kuisinoner online berupa google form. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode structural equation modelling (SEM) dan diolah menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS versi 3.3.3. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada pengetahuan kewirausaahaan, karakteristik kewirausahaan dan motivasi terhadap keberhasilan usaha MUKM kuliner di kota Pontianak.
