Abstract
Precast lightweight concrete panel is a new technology that currently used in construction projects in Jakarta. The new technology replaces cast-in-place concrete and metal deck system as structural slab. As a new technology in construction projects, precast lightweight concrete panel gets a lot of challenges from former technologies. This thesis describes comparison among lightweight concrete precast panel, cast-in-place technology, and metal deck system as a structural slab in terms of cost and time. The comparison covers overall structure work, such as foundations, columns, beams, etc. The objective of this thesis is to provide comprehensive information regarding the application of the precast lightweight concrete panel and its advantages and disadvantages compared to former technologies.
