Abstract

In developed countries, the more the population, the smaller the opportunity to get a job and will face stiff competition. This can be seen from the number of open unemployment in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education and self-concept on the entrepreneurial interest of Tarumanagara University students. The data collection method used a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents. The data analysis method used in this research is SEM-PLS analysis using the SmartPLS application. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education has an influence on interest in entrepreneurship, and self-concept has an influence on interest in entrepreneurship. This causes the variables of entrepreneurship education and self-concept to become one of the important variables in controlling the variable of interest in entrepreneurship of Tarumanagara University students. Di negara yang maju, semakin banyaknya populasi penduduk maka peluang untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan akan semakin kecil dan akan menghadapi persaingan yang ketat. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari jumlah pengangguran terbuka di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan dan konsep diri terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Universitas Tarumanagara. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis SEM-PLS menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha, dan konsep diri memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha. Hal ini menyebabkan variabel pendidikan kewirausahaan dan konsep diri menjadi salah satu variabel penting dalam pengendalian pada variabel minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Universitas Tarumanagara.
