Abstract
Introduction: Since neurologic deficit will reduce quality of life, brain metastasis (BM) from the breast cancer (BC) is associated with poor prognosis. Immunohistochemical (IHC) staining against progesterone, estrogen, and human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2) have been used to classified tumor subtypes which might be related to BM from BC. Aims: To investigate the incidences of BM and the relationship between BC subtypes towards time interval from primary diagnosis of BC to development of BM.
