Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test effect of company size, capital structure and return on asset to value of the firm at the economic macro condition on all industrial sectors except the financial sector company listedon the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period 2010 to 2014either partially or simultaneously. This research used 1,660 samples from 332 firms in 5 years. The method used is panel data regression analysis with Generalized Method of Moments using EViews 8. The results showed that variable firm size and return on asset partially has significant influence on the value of the firm. Capital structure has no effect on the value of the firm. It also found that moderating effect of the exchange rate rupiah to AS dollar to the effects of firm size and return on assetwith value of the firm and no moderating effect of the exchange rate to the effects of capital structurewith value of the firm.However company size, capital structure, return on asset and exchange rate simultaneously affect the value of the firm with R-squared 16.4584% that shows value of the firm can explained by company size, capital structure, return on asset and exchange rate 16.4584% and the rest 83.5416% can be explained by other variables outside this research.
