Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, locus of control toward financial satisfaction through financial behavior as a variable of mediation. This study will examine university lecturers in Indonesia as the samples. Sampling techniques is done by using nonprobability sampling which specifically speaking is an accidental sampling. Through giving online questionnaires by using google docs and processed by SmartPLS 3.0, the observation eventually gained 500 respondents. The result of this study are financial literacy, locus of control influenced financial satisfaction directly and also indirectly through individuals’ financial behavior.
