Abstract

The amount of income for adults who are working and unmarried is very important, besides that financial knowledge also has an important role to avoid unwanted things. In addition to income and financial literacy, another thing that is no less important is financial attitude. Unmarried adults must be able to manage income and expenses, especially if they do not have dependents. This is also a learning process to be able to manage finances when you are married. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of income, financial literacy and financial attitudes on the financial management behavior of unmarried adults. The research sample used was 150 respondents. Sampling using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling type. The results showed that income and financial literacy had an insignificant positive effect on financial management behavior, while financial attitudes had a positive and significant influence on financial management behavior.
