Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh dari net working capital, capital expenditure, growth opportunities, dan firm size terhadap cash holding. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling yang menghasilkan 10 perusahaan teknologi yang terdaftar di BEI. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa capital expenditure memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap cash holding dan firm size memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap cash holding. Sedangkan, net working capital memiliki pengaruh positif dan insignifikan terhadap cash holding dan growth opportunities memiliki pengaruh negatif dan insignifikan terhadap cash holding. Kata kunci : cash holding, net working capital, capital expenditure, growth opportunities, firm size. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of net working capital, capital expenditure, growth opportunities, and firm size on cash holding. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling which resulted in 10 technology companies listed on the IDX. The regression test results show that capital expenditure has a negative and significant effect on cash holding and firm size has a positive and significant effect on cash holding. Meanwhile, net working capital has a positive and insignificant effect on cash holding and growth opportunities have a negative and insignificant effect on cash holding.
