Abstract
ABSTRAK PENGARUH ASSET TURNOVER, CAPITAL STRUCTURE, FIRM AGE, DAN FIRM SIZE TERHADAP FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE PADA SEKTOR KONSUMEN PRIMER YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA TAHUN 2020-2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara asset turnover, capital structure, firm age, dan firm size terhadap financial performance pada perusahaan sektor konsumen primer yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2020- 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan 45 sampel perusahaan menggunakan teknik pemilihan sampel berupa metode purposive sampling menggunakan data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan keuangan perusahaan. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda melalui program Eviews 13 serta Microsoft Excel 2016. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa capital structure memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap financial performance, firm age memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap financial performance, sedangkan asset turnover dan firm size tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial performance. Implikasi penelitian berupa perlunya kontrol dan penggunaan aset secara maksimal untuk meningkatkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Kata kunci: Financial Performance, Asset Turnover, Capital Structure, Firm Age, Firm Size This study aims to determine the effect between asset turnover, capital structure, firm age, and firm size on financial performance in primary consumer sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2020-2022. This study used 45 company samples using a sample selection in the form of a purposive sampling method using secondary data obtained from the company's financial statements. Data processing techniques using multiple regression analysis assisted by the Eviews 13 and Microsoft Excel 2016. The results of this study indicate that capital structure has a negative effect on financial performance, firm age has a positive effect on financial performance, asset turnover and firm size have no effect on financial performance. The research implication is the need for maximum control and use of assets to improve the company's financial performance.
