Abstract

Dalam perkembangan akuntansi dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh para akuntan dalam praktik sehari-hari. Terdapat Beberapa faktor latar belakang yang mendasari urgensi perlunya adanya Pendeteksian kecurangan ( Fraud) bahwa masih ada kelemahan kita dalam mendeteksi kasus fraud sehingga mahasiswa PPAK harus siap menghadapi realitas ini saat mereka memasuki dunia akuntansi, Peran Kunci Auditor sangat penting dalam mendeteksi fraud, Kurikulum dan Pendidikan Akuntansi terutama dalam memahami akan ilmu auditing baik dari konsep, tahapan, cara pendeteksian. Kontribusi terhadap Profesi Akuntansi yang dapat menciptakan Mahasiswa PPAK yang dilengkapi dengan pengetahuan yang baik tentang fraud akan berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas akuntan dan praktik akuntansi secara keseluruhan. Penelitian bertujuan tentang pemahaman audit mahasiswa PPAK di Universitas Tarumanagara dalam mendeteksi fraud menjadi penting untuk memastikan bahwa mahasiswa siap menghadapi dunia nyata yang penuh dengan tantangan dalam praktik akuntansi. Pemahaman Audit (X) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Pendeteksian kecurangan ( Fraud) (Y) Kata Kunci: Mahasiswa; Pemahaman Audit; Pendeteksian kecurangan ( Fraud ). In the development of accounting and the challenges faced by accountants in daily practice. There are several background factors that underlie the urgency of the need for fraud detection that there is still our weakness in detecting fraud cases so that PPAK students must be prepared to face this reality when they enter the accounting world, The Key Role of Auditors is very important in detecting fraud, Accounting Curriculum and Education, especially in understanding the science of auditing both from concepts, stages, ways of detection. Contribution to the Accounting Profession that can create PPAK Students who are equipped with good knowledge about fraud will contribute to improving the quality of accountants and accounting practices as a whole. Research aims at understanding the audit of PPAK students at Tarumanagara University in detecting fraud is important to ensure that students are ready to face the real world which is full of challenges in accounting practices.
