Abstract

Eventhough there are so many regulations have been issued to tighten teh establishment of autonomy district, the leader in district still proposes district enlargement. The legal-formal reason usually about social, economy, and optimum development. Behind the formal aspect, there is an ethocentric value in democratization packege. Therefore, to minimize district establishment not only step on formal aspect but also understand and aware to do crosscultural communication Keywords: autonomy, ethnocentric, crosscultural communication.
