Abstract

Rapid changes of world economy has made increasingly important strategic role, to maintain and improve business performance. Measurement of current performance is conducted to obtain information in order to determine the target and get the right strategic initiatives. Maintenance Scorecard (MSC) is aframework/or measuring performance in asset management/or what to do, how the performance so far, and how every action carried out in accordance with company objectives. MSC is applied through a structured hierarchy of objectives on threefundamental level, namely corporate, strategic, and functional levels. MSC translates the vision and mission into strategic map on three levels, and then will be followed up with the determination of KPls of its six perspectives, namely productivity, quality, cost effectiveness, environmental, safety, and learning perspectives. From the design (development phase) of MSC in Engineering Department at Hotel X, obtained twelve KPJsfor productivity, eight KPlsfor cost effectiveness, three KP!sfor safety, seven KPIs for quality, three KPIs for environmental, and one KP Ifor learning. Based on interviews and questionnaire with shareholder of Hotel, obtained by the quality perspective has greatest contribution to its performance measurement, followed by productivity - cost effectiveness - environmental - safety - learning.
