Abstract
PD. Berkat Plastik Industri is a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of products with plastic-based. One example of a product's production company was closed box powder and powder box in which the product is a fixed product, but there are still many defects in the final product. In addition to product defects, often also seen the operator idle while waiting for the results of the injection. We perform repairs using lean six sigma methods to reduce waste by using the tools of value stream mapping process and achieve a product that is almost close to zero defect approach FMEA The result is the value of PCE to the process of making a powder box which is 19.15% and the level of sigma product box lid powder and powder boxes are respectively 3.794 and 3.598 before being given the proposed improvements. PCE value increased to 33.27% after the proposal then we can made value stream mapping.
