Abstract
Woman in Bali, who wants to get married, will try their best to get man who have a same caste. Married couple with different class may cause many different of social status between man and woman. The changing of social status may make woman need to do self adjustment with their new status. This research had an aim to present how well self adjustment on behalf of woman from higher caste married with man with low caste. This research was using qualitative method from 3 (three) Brahmana’s early adulthood woman (25 to 34 years old) who married with Sudra’s man. Collecting data was completed for 7 (seven) months, start from July 2011 to February 2012. The result was two from three woman who has a different caste married may successfully adjust their self to social status of their husband. The three subjects have a different way to done self adjustment and adjustment from their husband environment.
