Having a child with disability is the most painful experience in family life cycle and also the deepest sorrow for mother especially in raising child with disability. This study aims to describe the process of self acceptance in mother that have hearing disability child with cochlear implant. Acceptance is characterized as a state of mind whereby a deliberate effort is made to recognize, understand and resolve problem and parents also discover that acceptance involves not only accepting their child, but also accepting themselves and acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses (Gargiulo, 2012). The method called in-depth interview was conducted towards three early adulthood mother (aged from 30-45 years old) who have child with profound hearing loss disability and using cochlear implant. This study also using the Self Acceptance Q-Sort to support the interview result. This study lasted for seven months, started from December 2012 until June 2013. The result shows that three subjects have been through the same process to accepting their child disability and adjusting themselves with their child disability. Generally, the three subjects have a positive self acceptance with their child hearing disability.
