Abstract
According to the Catholic faith; celibacy in priesthood life is a total devotion to God. Agudo (1994) declared that priests, monks, or nuns are healthy. But Schutls (in Looy, 1996) Claimed that priests, monks and nuns are unhelathy because they are not married thus unable to fulfil their sexual desire. The purpose of this research is to find out hhow priests, monks, and nuns their emotional welfare during mid-life crisis. Data collection was conducted by using semi-structured interview technique and observation using Mental Status Examination (MSE) on six subjects (2 priests, 1 monk, 3 nuns) (age 10-65). The result indicates that all subjects are healthy and able to deal with mid-life crisis by self devotion to God.
