Abstract

Entering the industrial era 4.0, technology continues to develop and is used to improve company performance. This emphasizes the occurrence of disruption among companies which is mainly driven by utilizing this technology. Previous studies have stressed the importance of innovation to overcome this condition. Astra Group as one of the conglomerate groups in Indonesia has understood and implemented this consistently and persistently. This research aims to analyze the influence of managerial capabilities, adhocracy culture, and knowledge sharing on innovation capabilities and performance in this group. It is hoped that this will provide theoretical, managerial, and policy understanding, and contributions related to innovation capabilities in companies. The research method used in this study is the quantitative method. 233 professionals from 39 large category companies in various industries within the Astra group with managerial positions and above became resource persons and respondents in this study through questionnaires with 30 questions. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis using the Structural Equation Modeling data processing method using SmartPLS 4.0 software.
The results obtained are managerial capabilities, adhocracy culture, and knowledge sharing affect the capabilities and innovation performance of the Astra group. This shows managerial implication within Corporation that innovation performance
requires innovation capabilities driven by three factors, namely managerial capabilities, adhocracy culture, and influential knowledge sharing in an integrated manner. This integrated model is a novelty that has been tested in this dissertation as theory contribution complementing various Innovation capability theories that already existed before.
