Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between stress management and job satisfaction on work-family conflict in employees of oil palm companies. The research method used a quantitative approach with a correlational design, involving 213 respondents selected through purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire measuring stress management, job satisfaction, and work-family conflict. The results of data analysis showed a significant negative relationship between stress management and work-family conflict, as well as a significant negative relationship between job satisfaction and work-family conflict. Good stress management and high job satisfaction were shown to contribute to reducing work-family conflict. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 80.7% indicates that both independent variables contribute significantly to the dependent variable, while the rest is influenced by other factors. The findings provide practical implications for companies in designing policies to improve stress management and job satisfaction to create a balance between work and family life.
